What materials do you use?

I work in both inks and coloured pencil, sometimes mixing the two, always on top quality paper such as St Cuthberts Mill Bockingford and Waterford.

How long does a piece take?

That will depend on the subject, size and complexity of the piece. Will research be necessary? I always sketch ideas through, work the final image into line, then using my light box I trace to image in delicate pencil onto the final paper. Final pieces can take anything from just a few hours to several weeks to complete.

Are pieces framed or unframed?

Generally I prefer to sell unframed, as glass breakage is always a concern when posting. However images can be mounted framed at extra cost. Collection is preferred.

Do you take commissions? If so how do I contact you?

Yes, anything from one off images, to sets and books. Contact me either via the contact page here or via my Facebook page. There is a link on the home page.

Do you do talks, workshops or school visits?

Yes to all. I teach adult art classes locally in Holbrook Suffolk and also can do schools visits and tailor the class to your curriculum. My fee will vary according to where you are and what you want. Contact me for more details.

Where do you exhibit and sell your work?

I sell online via the For Sale section of from my gallery/studio where I have much more work on show and available to purchase. Studio visits are welcome by prior arrangement. I also attend various local gift and art fairs throughout the year, see my Facebook page for updates.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Direct payment, via bank transfer. Or payment on collection should you wish to collect.
